Upper Class Travelling in Upper Class is a seamless journey from beginning to end - chauffer driven cars, luxurious Clubhouse lounges and fully reclining onboard seats with over 6 ft of sleeping space to stretch out in. Our stylish onboard bars and beauty therapy treatments on flights to and from Heathrow add to the relaxing atmosphere. Premium Economy If you want an Economy flight with just that little bit more, then Premium Economy puts you in a class of your own. You'll find bigger, wider seats with up to a 38" seat pitch, a separate cabin onboard, dedicated check in and a glass of champagne before takeoff. Economy Flying Economy with us is all about value and fun. There's never a dull moment - with individual seat back TVs, great food and enough to keep kids happy for hours. OUR FARE TYPES Basically there are two types - flexible and lowest for each cabin: Upper Class (flexible), Premium Economy (flexible) and Economy (flexible) With a flexible ticket you get all of the benefits described above and they are unrestricted, so there are no penalties for changes and/or cancellations. Upper Class (lowest), Premium Economy (lowest) and Economy (lowest) Lowest means that you are getting a ticket at the lowest fare available in that cabin. With these tickets you get all the usual facilities, but some Upper Class services like chauffeur driven cars won't be available. These tickets are restricted so there will be a charge for changes and/or cancellations. Book here for Virgin Atlantic Flights COMBINING CABINS If you want to combine cabins on one itinerary (i.e. travel outbound in one cabin and return in another) make sure you select the 'Travel on the exact dates you've chosen' option. This only applies to single sector round trips (eg London -> New York -> London). You can combine any flexible fare type with any other flexible fare type, and you can combine any lowest fare type with any other lowest fare type. This allows you the freedom to combine any of our cabins and travel on a fully flexible ticket or ensure you get the lowest available fare for your mixed cabin itinerary. If there is no availability for your fare type in your chosen cabin, we will first search one day either side of the date chosen. Then we will search for the next highest fare. Please note, that in some situations, due to non-availability, you could end up with a flexible fare type for travel in one cabin and a lowest fare type for travel in another. In this case the lowest fare type rules apply to the whole trip.
